Summary: "Kingston 133x Elite Pro CF Card."

If you need them for a camera, you can't go for a lower model. It would simply not work and even generate errors in the form of corrupted images and data loss. 133x (related to data transfer speed) minimum and the faster the better.
Kingston seems to have the better cost-performance benefit. other brands are more expensive.

I use 6 of these 4GB cards and have never had a card failure. They are cheap and dependable. I get about 235 RAW images on a card with my D200. I format the card in camera every time I dump a card. This is the safest way to manage CF cards. I've always used Kingston and they've never let me down.

I found the Kingston Elite Pro 4gb card after doing some searching. I wanted something I could use for some fun pictures at an event that was coming up. The vendor shipped very quickly, nicely packaged and with a great catalog letting me know about the other items they sell.

I think the fact that the company shipped in such a timely fashion and offered the item at a great price, was good enough. Letting me know that I could expand my relationship with them because they offered quite a few other things I might want to purchase, was helpful. I will go to them first when researching items for best prices.
